Thursday 25 June

  • Semester 2 will combine face-to-face with remote learning in as many courses as possible, while keeping the safety of our community and public health guidelines in mind.?
  • The University will have as much face-to-face learning on campus in Semester 2 as it is safe for us to provide, including tutorials, seminars and workshops. Most lectures will be online.?
  • ?We will continue to provide high-quality remote learning for students who are not yet able to join us in person due to travel restrictions.
  • We ask all students and staff to follow COVID-safe practices on campus. This includes good hygiene, frequent handwashing and observing 1.5m physical distancing where possible. If you are unwell or experiencing symptoms, please stay home.
  • Welcome Week will be held from 17 –?21 August with an online orientation experience planned for new and returning students in Semester 2, with the possibility of some on campus orientation activities. More information will be provided soon.

Wednesday 13 May

  • For most courses, Semester 2, 2020 will commence 3 weeks later than usual on Monday 24 August, and exams will end on 12 December.?
  • Some courses will need to start earlier due to their structure and requirements. This earlier session is called Semester 2 Early. Teaching will commence on 3 August and exams will end on 28 November.?It is important you check the session and corresponding dates for each of your units. Tuesday 7 April

  • As part of the University's commitment to ensuring no student is academically disadvantaged as a result of the health crisis, a ‘no-disadvantage’ approach to assessment will be adopted for Semester 1, 2020.
